The Firenze Race Team is pleased to announce that after the success of the Quiz Day, it’s now preparing for two exciting adventures in the world of racing. After an intense period of preparation and simulations, the team has obtained qualification for two important competitions to be held in the summer of 2024.

It all started with the simulations held in the Calenzano labs on 22 December 2023. The members of the Firenze Race Team did their utmost to test their skills and achieve the best result. These simulations were essential to assess the team’s level of preparation and to identify possible areas for improvement.

In January, further simulations were carried out ahead of the Quiz Day, which was held on 26 January 2024. On this decisive day, everyone in the team gave their all to demonstrate their skills and obtain the best possible score. The commitment and determination of each team member was evident, creating an atmosphere of great energy and desire to win.

In the first weeks of February, the team received the results of the test, which announced participation in two major races. We are now preparing for two exciting adventures that will take us to Hungary to compete in the Formula Student East races in the Combustion category and then to Varano de’ Melegari for the Formula ATA competition in the Driverless category.

The Formula Student competitions represent a unique challenge for us, giving us the opportunity to test our skills and to compete against other teams from all over the world. The Combustion category will see the team engaged in designing and building an internal combustion engine car, while in the Driverless category the focus will be on creating an autonomous vehicle.

We invite all racing and technology enthusiasts to join us on these exciting adventures. The competitions will offer spectacle, adrenaline and a chance to see first-hand the work and commitment of a talented young team. We look forward to seeing you on the track to support the Firenze Race Team!
