Formula Student East 2024

Between 28 July and 3 August, the Formula Student East competition was held in Hungary. It was our first race in 2024, which gave us a lot of excitement and satisfaction, a race we will hardly forget.

DAY ZERO Our adventure at the ZalaZONE Proving Ground began with enthusiasm and a hint of anxiety. As soon as we arrived, the team members reassembled the car and prepared the pit station, which was going to be our “home” in the days to come. The day then ended with an opening ceremony for the competition, a time to relax and socialise, which allowed us to get to know the other teams.

DAY 1 On our second day in Hungary, but first day of racing, the team was very busy. The guys showed extraordinary dedication, working tirelessly on the car and making the necessary changes to get approval for the dynamic events. The team’s perseverance and commitment were crucial in preparing us for the challenges ahead.

DAY 2 An intense day for the Firenze Race Team, which passed the technical checks and immediately started working on the FR-24 to tackle the dynamic tests that would later take place on the track.

DAY 3 After passing the last technical checks, the team carried out the final checks on the FR-24 and started testing the car’s performance in the Proving Area. In the afternoon, the first dynamic tests were held, including the acceleration and the Skid Pad.

DAY 4 On the penultimate day of competition, the team’s commitment was extraordinary. The dedication and passion of the guys were crucial in carrying out this adventure, especially in the autocross test that took place in the afternoon.

DAY 5 The last day of Formula Student East, we closed the circle of this incredible experience with the awards ceremony of the different teams. We experienced exciting moments and challenges that tested the team’s mettle. The satisfaction of seeing the result of months of effort was immense. We can say that we are proud of our journey and ready to push ourselves towards ever more ambitious goals.
