The 30th and 31st of January were two crucial days for the Firenze Race Team, which faced a series of challenging qualifying tests for the international competitions to be held this summer. The Quiz Days, events during which the team had to demonstrate its technical preparation and knowledge of regulations, were the testing ground for access to Formula Student competitions throughout Europe.

Team members prepared intensively to tackle the busy schedule of quizzes, divided into sessions that took place in the last days of January. Each test covered a specific competition, aiming to test the students’ competence on varies areas such as: general culture, regulations and calculations.

Here is the detailed schedule of the qualifying days:

• 13:00 FS Germany
• 15:00 FS Czech
• 17:00 FS Alpe Adria
• 19:00 FS Austria

It was an intense program that tested the team’s strength and preparation, but it was also an opportunity to test our ability to adapt to different challenges.

The end result of the two days of quizzes was an extraordinary success for the Firenze Race Team. We managed to gain access to as many as 5 international competitions:

• FS Austria
• FS Portugal
• FS East
• FS Czech
• Balkans

Entering these competitions marks a milestone in the team’s journey, which will now be able to prepare for some of the most prestigious challenges in the student car racing scene.

Unfortunately, due to the reduced budget and some logistical issues, we had to make the difficult decision to officially participate in only two of the international competitions planned for this season. In particular, our team will take part in the competitions in Austria and Hungary, choosing to focus resources on these events, which still represent an important opportunity for growth, both on a technical and human level, for all our young men and women, who continue to show their commitment and passion for Formula Student.

We are excited to begin this new chapter, convinced that also this year we will be able to face every challenge with the same passion, determination and spirit of innovation that has always distinguished us. Go Firenze Race Team!
